Baby man bun alert! Could you just die over Spencer's little bun! We did! And we are totally diggin' Jessica's hippie style. These two dolls were submitted to us by Kristina Curtis Photography. Spencer and Jessica met at work and she claims it was love at first sight. She fell in love with his long hair and charismatic personality and the first time he saw her he said "who is that hippie girl? She is so cute!" Their proposal story is the sweetest and we totally had to share! From Jessica:
On a Wednesday I got a pedicure after work and when I got home Spencer asked me to go on a hike. I told him that I wanted to but that my toes were still wet so we should wait and go the next day. He seemed disappointed but he agreed. After work on Thursday we got in the car and made our way to The Grotto in Payson Canyon, our favorite spot to hike. He wasn't making eye contact or talking with me. I thought he was irritated. Turns out the canyon was still closed and to be honest I was a little excited thinking I was getting out of hiking since Spencer didn't seem to be in a good mood anyway. He asked if I were okay with pulling over on the side of the road and finding a trail and I agreed. We started up and he was hiking ahead of me which isn't unusual as he is a faster hiker but I still felt like he was avoiding me. We kept turning around and getting lost in bunches of trees- I could tell he was trying to get somewhere but I had no idea where. Finally he made it to a clearing and called for me to meet him. He then turned me towards a tree that had 'MARRY ME' carved into the trunk. At first I didn't understand and thought maybe he had randomly found this tree that someone else had used to propose at. I turned around to face him and he was down on one knee smiling at me. I was so surprised I couldn't help but laugh and bury my face. Later I found out that I prolonged our engagement by waiting for my nail polish to dry and it was driving our families crazy. He told me that he was trying to keep his distance from me on the hike because he was fidgeting with the ring and didn't want me to see. He planned it out perfectly and I never saw it coming.
